At WoundEducators.com, we are committed to helping students and healthcare professionals advance their career in order to serve more of those in need. In addition to offering the most affordable online wound care certification courses, we also support a few local and global charities.

One of our mottos is, Where There’s a Wound, There’s a Way.

As healthcare professionals, we always have a way to help our patients.

As educators, we have a way to pass on our knowledge to all of our online students.

As a business, we have a way to give back to those in need.

WoundEducators is on a mission to help more people – beyond just our patients.  It’s in our DNA to help others and give back to the community we serve. Read more about our charitable initiatives!

Supporting Go.Build.Love

our mission to help go build love foundation

As of July 2019, we also support the Go.Build.Love foundation. This foundation started with the goal of providing people around the world access to clean water. Beginning with the GBL water filter, Go.Build.Love has branched out and now helps to build both medical clinics and schools in underprivileged areas. Areas Go.Build.Love has helped include Uganda, Guatemala, Haiti, Tanzania, and Honduras.

Our founder, Laurie Swezey, will be personally assisting with opening a new medical clinic in Gonaives, Haiti later this summer. To donate, visit https://www.gobuildlove.org/donate.html and select Haiti under the dropdown. Proceeds from the purchases of our “Where There’s a Wound, There’s a Way!” T-shirts will also support Go.Build.Love and the Haitian medical clinic.

Supporting Place of Hope

WoundEducators.com supports Place of Hope – A Local Children’s Charity Foundation. Place of Hope is the largest faith-based, state-licensed children’s organization in Palm Beach County.

Many people have wounds you cannot see – our new charity partnership with Place of Hope aims to heal those hidden emotional wounds. Place of Hope is a children’s charity that focuses on helping abused youth and ending human trafficking.

Place of Hope was founded in South Florida, just like WoundEducators.com, making this a charity we hold close to our hearts. Place of Hope provides family-style foster care for children who have suffered abuse and also provides shelter and rescue for victims of human trafficking.
