Wound Educators Reveals Newly Updated Wound Certification Courses

Here at Wound Educators, our students have always been our number one priority. A few weeks ago, we fully revamped our online wound care certification courses. As the first online wound course provider, we aim to offer the most current wound care education for all healthcare providers.

As rapidly as technology is advancing, we released fully updated wound certification course material to keep it relevant and cutting-edge for today’s wound management standards.

Announcing New Course Contributors & Wound Care Experts

Wound Educators has always prioritized having seasoned wound care heroes contribute to our online wound care courses. Former contributors include:

  • American Board of Wound Management (ABWM) chairmen
  • Former president of the American Academy of Wound Management (AAWM)
  • National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Board Member
  • Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC) Board Members
  • Wound Research Publishers
  • Board-Certified Wound Specialists

New 2020 contributors now include Dr. Betsy Meyers and Dr. Heather Hettrick. Both worked with us to make sure our updated wound certification course material gave our students a competitive advantage.

Dr. Meyers is the author of Wound Management: Principles and Practice and serves on the advisory board of ‘Why Wound Care?’. Dr. Meyers is an active practitioner for the St. Francis Health System and an Associate Professor at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Dr. Hettrick is a Past President of the American Board of Wound Management, past Board and Executive Committee member of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care. She is currently on the board of the World Alliance of Wound and Lymphedema Care, an advisory board for the Why Wound Care Campaign, and an Editorial Board member for Today’s Wound Clinic.

Newly Updated Wound Certification Course Content, Same Commitment

We want the very best for our students – that includes the best contributors, course material, the best price, an ‘Until-You-Pass’ guarantee, and the maximum continuing education hours provided. Our course access is 24/7, so those committed to wound care can fit learning into their busy lifestyles. Our courses are still 100% online, and can be accessed from almost any device.

Other Exciting Wound Care Course Changes

Formerly, students who purchased a course also received a CD and textbooks. In efforts to further keep up with the digital movement and on-the-go healthcare professionals, we have modified our course to now offer e-textbooks instead of bulky textbooks. This additional change gives our students greater flexibility (and mobility!) when studying for the wound care certification exam.

Achieving wound care certification has never been more important for personal career growth and improved patient care. Our updated wound certification courses can be used to prepare for multiple wound certifications:

    1. Laudette,

We are so sorry to hear this – I have passed on your info to those in the main office. They will be reaching out to assist you and give you full options if they haven’t already.

  2. I just sat for my WCC test. Some of the information in your curriculum that I paid quite a bit for is outdated….for example…in your instruction, there are 3 phases of Wound Healing. Currently, there are 4 or 5 phases, so questions on the exam related to that I missed due to my outdated study guide & supplementary readings.
I was very apprehensive the farther into the test I got, as I recognized that the material on the exam didn’t correlate with the study prep course from Educators.com I paid for.
